YMCA Kids’ Night Out offers families a safe, affordable option for evening childcare. Each monthly themed event is filled with fun—arts and crafts, STEM activities, outdoor games, and active play that keep kids engaged and energized.
While children discover new adventures and make friends, parents can enjoy a night out knowing their kids are in trusted hands.

Kids' Night Out events are currently available at the Ragsdale Family YMCA in Jamestown, NC, Reidsville Family YMCA in Reidsville, NC, and Spears Family YMCA in Greensboro, NC.
Pajamas and Pancakes

Slip into your coziest PJs and join us for a night of comfort and fun! We’ll kick things off with a yummy pancake dinner (because breakfast for dinner is the best!), then splash into the pool for some swimming fun. To end the night, kids can snuggle up with friends, sip on warm hot cocoa, and enjoy a movie in their pajamas. It’s the ultimate cozy night out—sweet treats & big splashes.
Friend Fest

Celebrate friendship with a night full of sweet treats and fun games! Kids will get creative by making chocolate-covered strawberries on skewers, dipping them in delicious melted chocolate. Then, we’ll spread the love with Cupid’s Candy Walk—dance and walk in a circle of hearts while music plays, and when the music stops, draw a number to pick a sweet treat or toy! It’s a night of friendship, laughter, and tasty surprises that kids won’t want to miss!

Movie Get ready for a night packed with luck and laughter! Kids will try their hand at Lucky Bingo with themed bingo cards, using shiny gold coins as their markers. After testing their luck, it’s time to splash in the pool for some swimming fun, then wind down with a movie and popcorn. With games, friends, and tasty treats, this night is sure to bring a little extra luck to everyone! with popcorn
