YMCA Kids’ Night Out offers families a safe, affordable option for evening childcare. Each monthly themed event is filled with fun—arts and crafts, STEM activities, outdoor games, and active play that keep kids engaged and energized. While children discover new adventures and make friends, parents can enjoy a night out knowing their kids are in trusted hands.
Kids' Night Out events are currently available at the Ragsdale Family YMCA in Jamestown, NC, Reidsville Family YMCA in Reidsville, NC, and Spears Family YMCA in Greensboro, NC.
Paint & Pop!

Join us for an unforgettable Kids Night Out! Kids will kick off the evening with a pizza dinner then keep the fun flowing with a Paint & Pass activity where friends swap canvases to finish each other’s masterpieces. We’ll mix things up with DIY Silly Sodas, letting kids create their own fizzy, flavorful drinks, and wrap up the night by diving into the pool for some swimming fun. It’s a night full of creativity, friendship, and splash-tacular excitement—you won’t want to miss it!

Get ready for a spook-tacular evening at the YMCA! Kids can show off their best costumes while enjoying a night full of Halloween fun. We’ll kick things off with pumpkin painting (everyone gets their own mini pumpkin to decorate), then head out for a Trick-or-Treat adventure around the Y, where candy will be hidden all throughout the halls. With costumes, creativity, and plenty of treats, this not so Frighting Night will be a spooky good time you won’t want to miss!
