Weekly Deposit: $40 (Due at the time of registration x the number of weeks being reserved. Non-refundable/non-transferrable) The weekly deposit is part of the weekly fee, just paid up front.

Get ready to launch into an out-of-this-world summer at the Bryan YMCA! LIT Launch is an exciting, high-energy summer camp for youth ages 12–14, designed to help middle schoolers explore their interests, build real-world skills, and grow as confident leaders while having a blast.
Our Leaders In Training will rotate through dynamic specialty hubs like Sports, STEM, Creative Arts, Cooking, and Media & Podcasting, paired with classic camp favorites including swimming, team-building games, and weekly field trips. Each week also features exciting “Labs” and special visits, such as mobile STEM labs, mobile zoos, and interactive on-site experiences, bringing learning and adventure right to camp.
LIT Launch offers new themes, challenges, and discoveries every week in a fun, supportive environment where friendships grow and curiosity takes flight.
Weekly Themes
June 15-19 | Let’s Launch
We'll blast off into summer with high-energy experiences that build confidence, friendships, and big goals for the months ahead. Campers will kick off the season by exploring future possibilities, strengthening connections, and setting the tone for an exciting and meaningful summer.
June 22-26 | Astro Engineers
Campers will step into the role of scientists and innovators as they dive into hands-on STEM experiments and real-world careers. From testing ideas to visiting cutting-edge spaces in our community, this week will spark curiosity and show campers how science, technology, and creativity come together to shape the future.
June 29-July 3 | Galactic Games
This high-energy week is all about movement, teamwork, and competition. Campers will stay active through sports and motorsports-themed experiences while building confidence, sportsmanship, and collaboration skills and having a blast.
July 6-10 | 3…2…1…Impact!
Campers will turn their focus outward and learn how to make a real difference in their community. Through service projects and local exploration, youth will discover the power of giving back and how small actions can create lasting impact.
July 13-17 | Critter Encounters
An adventure-packed week where campers will explore animals, ecosystems, and the great outdoors. From hands-on environmental learning to outdoor exploration, campers will build curiosity and appreciation for nature while discovering how everything in our ecosystem is connected.
July 20-24 | Cosmic Kitchen
Campers will roll up their sleeves and explore healthy eating, cooking skills, and where food comes from. Campers will explore their favorite foods farm to table. This week will blend nutrition education with hands-on experiences that help youth build lifelong wellness habits while having fun in the kitchen.
July 27-31 | Stellar Spotlight
Creativity will take center stage as campers explore media, storytelling, and self-expression. From podcasts to filmmaking, youth will gain confidence and communication skills while collaborating on projects that showcase their voices and talents.
August 3-7 | Cosmic Canvas
We'll close out the summer with a celebration of art, creativity, and imagination. Campers will experiment with different artistic styles and mediums while reflecting on their growth and ending the summer with a showcase of their creativity.
