NC Child & Guilford CAN Child Advocacy Network
Founded in 2014, NC Child works to eliminate the barriers that stand in the way of children living happy, healthy lives. Lasting change requires meaningful collaboration from a diverse group of individuals and organizations, especially those who are most directly impacted by policy solutions.
NC Child is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Guilford CAN Child Advocacy Network
As advocates, we are stronger when we work together. The NC Child Advocacy Network (CAN), launched and supported by NC Child, brings together child advocates from across North Carolina. Our primary goal is building power that can impact public policies to benefit children and families.
Those who are closest to challenges know the best solutions. Together with the thousands of parents, direct service organizations, health care professionals, youth leaders, and faith groups who make up the Child Advocacy Network, we speak with a unified voice for North Carolina children.
The YMCA Greensboro has placed a focus on Youth Mental Health through various initiatives such as the Teen Mental Health Advisory Council, offering community training and expanding access to mental health for youth and families.
