Focused On Your Wellness at the Y
We know wellness involves more than working out. The Y offers several wellness programs throughout the year to come alongside you and your wellness journey.
Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier, fight disease, improve your energy or lower stress, we have people and programs in place to help. We offer a variety of fun, high-quality programs that are included in your Y membership or require an additional fee.
For more than 130 years, the Y has served as a nonprofit leader and partner in community health, delivering evidence-based health programs and interventions that benefit vulnerable populations and those managing the life-altering effects of chronic disease.
Around the World in 60 Days Fitness Challenge
Dates: Challenge Runs from June 5 to August 3
Cost: $15 to Register
Registration begins May 5 to June 12.
Lace your kicks up tight, because it’s time for a fitness expedition unlike any other: The Y’s Around the World in 60 Days Fitness Challenge! This 60-day program will challenge you to complete various exercises throughout the YMCA and earn enough miles to travel around the globe along the way. The registration cost covers tips from our Y staff team and encouragement from an engaged group of other challenge participants!
Participants will log each of their workouts using a tracking sheet and rack up miles for each minute completed. The goal of the challenge is to complete a total of 24,901 miles. The longer you exercise, the more miles you will travel! Take on the challenge and register today.
How to Earn Challenge Miles
Wellness Center - Earn 5 Miles Per Minute. For Example:
- 30 Minutes Strength Training = 150 Miles
Cardio - Earn 10 Miles Per Minute. For Example:
- 25 Minutes of Swimming = 250 Miles
- 25 Minutes of walking around your neighborhood = 250 Miles
Group Fitness Classes – Earn 10 Miles Per Minute. For Example:
- 30 Minute Class = 300 Miles
Y in the Community Classes – Earn:
- 30 Minute Class = 360 Miles
- 45 Minute Class = 375 Miles
- 60 Minute Class = 400 Miles
Summer Boot Camp
This fast-paced class focuses on agility, strength and cardio segments. Boot Camp may be offered outside, weather permitting.
Dates: Thursdays in June | June 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 6pm

Spirit Fit
Exercise for Your Soul
When: Mondays at 11 am and 6 pm
Location: Eden YMCA Group Exercise Room
Join us for Bible study to dive into relevant topics and thought-provoking discussions, gain new insights, strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ and others and spend time in His word.

Generation POUND®
Generation POUND® was created not just as a workout geared towards kids, but a MOVEMENT that aims to change the concept of health and fitness for today’s youth.
The program fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness and teamwork skills. Instructors use Ripstix®–POUND’s lightly weighted exercise drumsticks–to learn alternative ways to explore movement. Register today!
Ages: 7-12

Power Hour Small Group Training
This program will be designed for all fitness levels. The focus of Power Hour will be on helping you get into shape and change up your routine. This program is capped at eight people.
Dates: June 5 - June 28
Price: $50/Members; $100/Community Guests

Tuesday/Thursday Bootcamp
This program will be designed for all fitness levels. Our boot camps are hosted by a variety of instructors and are focused on helping you get into shape and change up your routine.

Price: $60/Members and $120/Community Guests

Sunday Bootcamp
This program will be designed for all fitness levels. Our Sunday bootcamp is hosted by Priscilla and Morgan and is focused on helping you get into shape and change up your routine.

Women on Weights
This program is specifically designed for women who want to increase their knowledge of weight training, and proper lifting techniques and increase their muscle mass. The program is designed for all fitness levels.
