For more than 130 years, the Y has served as a nonprofit leader and partner in community health, delivering evidence-based health programs and interventions that benefit vulnerable populations and those managing the life-altering effects of chronic disease. 

What to Expect/How You Can Help During the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Most importantly, if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone with COVID-19, please stay home! Help us keep our Y communities safe and healthy.
  • Please review our member expectations by clicking here.
  • Members will be asked to sign an updated waiver before participating in any Y offerings. Waivers can be found here. Once you have completed this waiver, you do not need to complete it again.
  • To ensure the utmost safety of our members, we will limit use to NC YMCA members.
  • All team members, members and vendors who are unwilling to comply with the Y’s COVID transmission prevention measures will be asked to leave.

Eden YMCA

Fat Burn Boot Camp
With Gina and Lasaro

When: Beginning August 7, Saturdays from 7:45 – 8:45 am
Location: Outdoors at the Eden YMCA
Cost: $40 Members, $60 Potential Members

If you're looking to feel more motivated and energetic, the Y has you covered! Join us for four intense Saturday morning workouts from August 7th to 28th. Our instructors will help you push your limits, increasing your strength, agility and stamina. You'll leave each session of this high-intensity aerobic interval training feeling empowered, accomplished and challenged!

Spirit Fit
Exercise for Your Soul

When: Mondays at 11 am and 6 pm, beginning in February
Location: Eden YMCA Group Exercise Room

In a time of uncertainty and anxiety, it's easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. Join us for Bible study to dive into relevant topics and thought-provoking discussions, gain new insights, strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ and others and spend time in His word.

12 Days of Fitness
Annual Elf Training

Dates: November 15 to December 17
Days/Times: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 5:30 – 6:30 am

On the first day of fitness, the YMCA gives to you.....the Annual Elf Training Program! Just in time to set the mood for the holidays. Each workout gives a hint of holiday flavor to get you set for the Christmas Season. Register online or at the branch!

Reindeer Running Camp
Training for the finish line!

Dates: October 18 to December 11
Days/Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:45 – 6:45 pm
Location: Ragsdale YMCA
Cost: $85 for Members; $100 for Potential Members
6 minimum participants are required to run the program.

Registration includes Reindeer Romp Registration and team shirt!

12 Days of Fitmas
Virtual Fitness Challenge

Dates: December 14 through December 25
Cost: $5 Members, $10 Potential Members
Please note that you must provide an email address to participate.

Stay motivated and get into the holiday spirit with the 12 Days of Fitmas! In this virtual challenge, participants will receive a fitness challenge by email every day between December 14-25. Participants who earn the most points over the 12 day period will be entered into a drawing for a free 3-month membership!

Maintain Don't Gain
Holiday Fitness Challenge

Dates: November 22 through January 16
Cost: $15 Members, $20 Potential Members
There will be an additional $5 added after November 15. Registration includes a t-shirt, access to a private Facebook support group and weekly program challenges to help support you throughout the journey!

Instructions:

  • Successfully maintain your weight by January 16 and be entered into a drawing for a free 3-month membership.
  • The initial weigh-in is open from November 22 – 28.
  • Weigh-in weekly! If you’re maintaining or losing weight you will be entered into a weekly prize drawing.
  • Remote weigh-in options will be available.

Community Exercise Series

The Stoney Creek Express YMCA is partnering up with the Town of Gibsonville to bring FREE classes through our Community Exercise Series! We will be offering two free Active Adult Fitness classes that are open to anyone (regardless of membership status) who is interested.
