We know wellness involves more than working out. The Y offers several wellness programs throughout the year to come alongside you and your wellness journey.

Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier, fight disease, improve your energy or lower stress, we have people and programs in place to help. We offer a variety of fun, high-quality programs that are included in your Y membership or require an additional fee.

For more than 130 years, the Y has served as a nonprofit leader and partner in community health, delivering evidence-based health programs and interventions that benefit vulnerable populations and those managing the life-altering effects of chronic disease.

 

Couch to 5K
Specialty Training Class

Join ACE Certified Personal Instructor Caroline Duncan for a specialty class designed to help prepare participants for a 5K! Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including interval training, tempo runs, strength training, and more!

Feel more confident and knowledgeable in the weight room. This 4 week session will help raise your familiarity with weight lifting, proper techniques and increase your muscle mass. Each session will focus on learning to use various machines to work different muscle groups.

Restorative Yoga Class for Bright Beginnings

Join us for a Restorative Yoga class, supporting our Bright Beginnings program! Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. This practice of deep relaxation emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
