We know wellness involves more than working out. The Y offers several wellness programs throughout the year to come alongside you and your wellness journey.

Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier, fight disease, improve your energy or lower stress, we have people and programs in place to help. We offer a variety of fun, high-quality programs that are included in your Y membership or require an additional fee.

For more than 130 years, the Y has served as a nonprofit leader and partner in community health, delivering evidence-based health programs and interventions that benefit vulnerable populations and those managing the life-altering effects of chronic disease.

Sweat 16 Wellness Challenge

Challenge Runs March 4-31 | Cost: $5 | Registration closes March 6

Complete 4 workouts a week for 4 weeks and get rewarded! 

Receive a punch card and complete 4 workouts in 4 weeks for a chance to win a stainless steel Y mug! Completed punch cards must be turned in to the front desk by April 5 to enter.

Exercise for Your Soul

Join us for Bible study to dive into relevant topics and thought-provoking discussions, gain new insights, strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ and others and spend time in His word.

Senior Mobility and Strength Small Group Training

If your goals include mobility and strength training, this one’s for you! This Small Group Training session is led by NASM-certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, Mo Summers. Each session is catered toward health seekers seeking personalized and effective guidance in their fitness routines.

Unlike Bootcamp, Small Group Training sessions improve your fitness through personal attention and tailored exercise. They are designed to help you achieve maximum results and avoid injury. Each session will include health education, goal-setting, and more!

This program is geared towards seniors, but all ages/abilities are welcome! 8 maximum participants, 4 total sessions.

Dates: April 5-April 26 | 1pm-2pm every Friday | Cost: $50 Member | $65 Community Guest
Cost increases by $10 on March 28.

Decades Renegades Bootcamp
A Medley of Fitness Through the Ages

What could be better than 6 weeks of growing stronger together? 6 weeks of growing stronger together while conquering workouts that tie into classic eras! Each week of our Decades Renegades Bootcamp will be packed with workouts to help you move into Spring feeling like your very fittest self!

Bring It to the Beach

Can you exercise enough to make it to the beach in just 12 weeks? Bring it to the beach is a challenge to get you moving and utilizing the Reidsville YMCA!

The distance between Reidsville and the NC coastline is approximately 236 miles and each visit to the YMCA earns “beach miles.” Those who successfully earn 236 miles will be entered into a drawing for 2 prizes. One of the prize drawings will be for a weekend at the beach!

Dates: February 5 to April 28 | Cost: $15 (Members ONLY)
Registration includes an optional t-shirt. An additional $5 will be added after January 25.

  • Miles will be tracked by YMCA membership card scans.
  • Each visit to the Reidsville YMCA = 6 beach miles toward 236 total beach miles. That’s an average 3.5 visits/week for 12 weeks (only one visit per day).
  • Those who successfully complete the challenge will be entered into a prize drawing. Winners will be announced the week of May 1.

Line Dance Basics

Join Leigh from our Group Exercise Team and the Caro-liners for Line Dance Basics! You will learn the basic steps to Line Dancing. Each class will build on the next, allowing you time to practice and improve.
