The 8:46 Series. Hosted by the YMCA and the NCCJ.

Youth Voices for Sustainable Change

Beyond The 8:46 Series

It takes a sustained, collective effort across all sectors of our society to create real change. A “collective effort” means including youth voices.

Young people are often at the frontlines of social movements, yet at the same time are often excluded from these conversations. Join us to hear from a group of young leaders (representing YMCA of Greensboro and NCCJ) who are committed to equity and inclusion and to sharing meaningful ideas that can get us where we need to be. This session will be moderated by Dr. Oliver M. Thomas, Associate Pastor, Young Adult Ministry - Providence Baptist Church of Greensboro.
