Navigating A New Education Experience

As the landscape of learning continues to change, the YMCA remains committed to serving you and your child through extended learning opportunities.

As our school systems finalize their plans for the year, based on COVID-19 metrics, we are collaborating to develop plans to serve your children after school. As area school systems adjust calendars due to COVID-19, we will adjust our programming for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Y has worked in the childcare and after-school space for years, and our holistic approach helps children improve their study habits and reading skills, build healthy eating and physical activity habits, and gain exposure to the arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), global learning and more. We are willing and confident in our ability to help children continue to learn, grow and thrive during this difficult time.

You can learn more about our remote learning programs, School Days + and Weaver Outdoor School, by clicking here.

Join our interest list (click here) for Spears, Ragsdale or Hayes-Taylor YMCAs. If a spot is available for your child based on current grade level, someone will contact you to finalize registration.
