About the Road Race
The Annual Ragsdale YMCA Turkey Trot is a 5K with a virtual option & 1-Mile Fun Run! The race takes place on the second Saturday of December, and funds raised support programming and financial assistance through our Annual Campaign.
The Annual Giving Campaign provides scholarships for people who need our Y’s services. We provide program and membership scholarships for all ages and abilities regardless of their ability to pay. The Annual Giving Campaign also supports the following free programs: LIVESTRONG at the Y® Cancer Survivor program, FITting Another Piece in the Puzzle, Parkinson’s Cycle classes, and at a minimal fee, Adaptive Swim Lessons, and many more! When you register for the Reindeer Romp you make it possible for everyone to have access to Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in volunteering at our Annual Reidsville YMCA Turkey Trot? Volunteers are needed for directing racers, distributing refreshments, assisting with race packet pickup and more.
