Child Care During Your Workout
PlayZone is designed for children from 3 months to 6 years old, but if the Energy Factory is not open can accommodate children from 3 months to 12 year old. This is a benefit for our Adult, Family and Senior memberships so as long as the accompanying adult is a member, children may use the PlayZone. Please do NOT bring sick children to PlayZone. Crying children will be given 15 minutes before a parent will be called unless staff is notified differently.
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am-12:30pm & 4:00pm-8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-12:30pm & 4:00pm-7:30pm
*Sunday hours are not available June, July or August.
PlayZone may only be used for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
Energy Factory is designed for children from 6 to 12 years old. It is a fully staffed youth wellness center designed to keep kids active and busy while mom and dad are working out.
Monday to Thursday: 4:30pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00pm
Sunday*: 1:15 pm – 4:15 pm
*Sunday hours are not available June, July or August.
Energy Factory may only be used for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

February Parent's Night Out
Parent's Night Out is ready to have some sweet fun! Join us for a night of Valentines and candy-coated activities including cotton candy painting, candy heart towers and a heart-themed craft! Participants will also enjoy a pizza dinner, swimming and a viewing of "Inside Out!"

REGISTRATIONS DEADLINE: February 19, 2020
TIME: 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
MEMBERS: $20.00 per child
POTENTIAL MEMBERS: $25.00 per child
AFTER SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS: $15.00 per child
(After School participants who are registered for Parent's Night Out will transition directly to the event at 6:00 pm without needing to be picked up from After School)
Bring a swimsuit and towel for swimming, and a pillow & blanket for the movie!
This event is held after YMCA hours, therefore the YMCA doors will lock at 8:00 pm.
Drop-off is between 6:30-7:00 pm.
Pick-up is between 10-10:30 pm.
Early pick-up for emergencies only, please use the walkie talkie located on the front patio of the YMCA to reach a staff member in the case of an emergency.

BUILDING BRIGHT FUTURES
After-School Care at the Y is a unique program committed to offering opportunities to help children reach their full potential in education, physical fitness, self-esteem and spiritual health. Our program offers homework assistance, exciting and educational weekly themes, sports, swimming, games galore and much more. Under the watchful eyes of our qualified staff, the program fosters friendship among the children in the kind of open and inviting setting that only the Y can provide. We look forward to the 2019-2020 school year, which brings even more opportunities to reach out to our community and play a role in the development of our youth and the many families we serve.

ALL DAY DROP IN CARE
Do you need a safe, nurturing and fun place for your children to go when school is out? The Ragsdale family YMCA has all all day drop in care program for the 2019-2020 school year. This program offers all day care from 7:30am-6:00pm for those children currently enrolled in Kindergarten through Middle School. Children will spend their day playing games in our gymnasium and outdoor area, making a splash in our swimming pool, building friendships with peers and enjoying a day of non-stop activities all under the watchful eyes of our engaged staff.
Who is eligible? Children currently enrolled in Kindergarten through Middle School. Participants must be a bagged lunch daily.
What's the Cost? Members: $25.00; Potential Members: $35.00 (Daily Rates)
Drop Off: Begins 7:30am
Pick Up: By 6:00pm

Summer Day Camp
Summer Camp at Ragsdale YMCA!
At Ragsdale YMCA’s Camp Boomerang, our goal is to provide a warm, safe and engaging environment where children can discover who they are, develop lifelong
friendships and gain skills they’ll use for a lifetime. Registration begins March 1, 2020!
WHY THE Y: Discover that summer is MORE than beach trips and sunscreen! At YMCA camp, summer is all about achievement, relationships and belonging!
Safety comes first at YMCA camp, ensuring your child is provided a high-quality camp experience:
• Our staff is certified in CPR and First Aid and must pass a background check and drug screen.
• We offer a 1:10 counselor-to-camper ratio, which means more meaningful interaction with your child.
• Pre-summer staff trainings on child safety, healthy discipline, positive reinforcement, character development, games, songs and child abuse
prevention ensure the best possible experience for your camper!
Campers will be separated based on the following age groups:
5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-12 years
13-15 years (Leaders in Training Program; Acceptance program only)
WHAT TO BRING!
Swim suit, towel & bag for wet items
Change of clothes
Bagged lunch (No heat/refrigeration)
Sun block (Apply before camp every morning!)
LEAVE AT HOME:
Electronics, cell phones, toys, flip-flops, candy, soda, etc. The YMCA will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Be Prepared: Each camper will need to bring a bagged lunch to camp Monday-Friday! Please do not pack food that requires heating or refrigeration. Swim suit
and towel are required for swimming Monday-Friday. Other recommendations include: sun block (applied before arriving to camp), a labeled and refillable water
bottle, and cool and comfortable clothing.
Dress Code: Campers should come dressed to be active. Tennis shoes are required. Please, no sandals or open-toed shoes!
Who’s Eligible to Attend Camp: Traditional Day Camp is offered to children who are ages 5-12. Eligible children must have completed Kindergarten. Children must
have turned 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2019. The YMCA has the right to request a birth certificate as proof of age.
Camp Hours: Camp runs from 7am-6pm. Campers must arrive to camp by 9am daily and must be picked up by 6pm.
Character Development: At camp, we focus on positive values, identity and social competency. Children are taught lessons throughout the day that help them make good choices, feel confident and get along with others. We are building young leaders!

YMCA Potential Members: $165.00
HOW TO REGISTER
•Select the weeks to attend camp
•Complete the registration paperwork
•Submit registration form and $35.00/week deposit for each selected week. Deposit required at the time of registration. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Enrollment in any week of camp is not guaranteed without payment of deposit.

Registration ends the Monday before each week of camp, at which time remaining balances are due for the upcoming week. Any balance due payments made after Monday, the week before camp, will result in a $10 late payment fee. You may forfeit your week’s registration if balances are not paid in full by the payment deadline.
A deposit of $35.00 per week, per child is required for all registered camp weeks. Camp deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to other weeks.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE POLICY
Everyone belongs at the Y. Through our Annual Giving campaign, we are able to provide discounted programs to individuals in need. If you are in need of financial assistance, see the front desk for an application. Applications with required documentation are due for review May 20, 2020.
