The 8:46 Series

It will take a sustained, collective effort across all sectors of our society to create real change.

Join us for The 8:46 Series, a community initiative designed to introduce 846 community members to the issue of systemic racism and how it impacts our entire society. This 3-hour educational webinar will leverage the Racial Equity Institute’s “Groundwater Approach”, which is a metaphor designed to help our community internalize the reality that we live in a racially structured society, and that that is what causes racial inequity. By starting with this understanding, we can unlock transformative change.

Hosted by the NCCJ of the Piedmont Triad and the YMCA of Greensboro in partnership with The Partnership Project, Inc., and the Racial Equity Institute.
