Author Reading & Book Signing

Join us on Monday, March 20 from 10am-11am as we welcome Y member and local author Alan Proctor! Alan will be reading selections from each of his 4 books, selling and signing books, and answering audience questions.

About Alan: Alan was twice a Reader’s Digest national poetry finalist, a winner in the Whispering Prairie Press 2012 Rex Rogers Contest, and a finalist in the Mississippi Valley Poetry contest. He is anthologized in The Whirlybird Anthology of Kansas City Writers and Writers Digest’s “Red Heart Black Heart Valentine’s Day Collection.” His fiction, poetry and/or creative non-fiction have appeared in New Letters, Chautauqua, I-70 Review, Crosstimbers, Kansas City Voices, The Rockhurst Review, Off Channel, and Hanging Loose, among other journals.
